Albuquerque is home to the largest Balloon Fiesta in the world. Every October hundreds of pilots from around the world come to Albuquerque to celebrate the magic and beauty of hot air ballooning. The Mass Ascension at the crack of dawn attracts early risers from far and wide. Those of us who still have to get to work are used to seeing balloons speckled across the sky on our way to the office. One of the many spots for good viewing is on the Big I, our highway junction, right in the middle of Albuquerque, depicted here on a hand-printed tea towel! The sight of all that color first thing in the morning, even before that first cup of coffee, is bound to put anyone in a good mood!
We have been told that it is the most photographed event in the world! We think this may be true because all of those bright colors against our deep blue New Mexico sky are well worth remembering! And a flour sack dish towel to help you remember the uniqueness of our city is a great gift for yourself or for a friend!
Our team of screen printers, hand prints, cures, folds, and tags each towel with care. With 101 uses, these versatile towels are highly absorbent, lightweight, and won’t leave lint on your glassware. Our customers swear by them! They’ll make a colorful addition to any home and when you shop with Kei & Molly you'll be supporting our mission of creating solid jobs for refugees and immigrants.
